Life Path Counseling
Create Your Path To A Better Future.

STATUS UPDATE (10/25/2023):

Exposure and health risks to COVID-19 and the various strains of this virus continue to exist. Life Path Counseling PLLC, as a healthcare based practice, is obligated to ensure the safety and well-being of its’ clients and to decrease the risk of exposure. To that end, the following measures to continue providing services are in effect:

The Client Portal on the website home page, is active for current clients to access and for those who wish to register as a new client to request an appointment. All new clients who have completed the onboarding process or otherwise have requested service but have not yet been seen, will be contacted for scheduling of video-conferencing services. Existing clients will need to continue using video conferencing sessions as well, in order to receive services.

*** A hybrid model of service (in-person/online) is now offered. Please see below for requirements for in-person services.

Requirements for in-person services include the following, that MUST be satisfied:

The client (and all others accompanying the client) are required to show valid proof of being FULLY vaccinated (minimum of two vaccine shots). All attendees will be required wear a N95 level mask or better, covering both their nose and mouth at all times during the session. Social distancing will also apply. These conditions are non-negotiable for indoor in-person services. Clients who are uncomfortable with them for whatever reason, should request to receive services only by telehealth. However, the conditions do not apply to sessions conducted outdoors if such arrangements are desired, but social distancing will still be required. For outdoor services, a liability waiver must be signed. Specific meeting arrangements are made for these sessions.

There may be a periodic request from the provider (depending on circumstances at the time) for the client to provide proof of verified COVID-19 testing from a healthcare facility that register's the client's name for testing (NOT a home test kit). In this case, a negative result is required that is not older than 72 hours prior to any scheduled in-person appointment. Failure to provide this requested test result or proof of vaccine on the day of the in-person appointment, will result in cancellation of the appointment. If applicable, the client will be responsible for the full session fee (for insurance clients, insurance will not be billed). For those who present the COVID-19 testing document with a negative result, the appointment will be honored. Cancellation policies will apply as normal.

The resistance or refusal from individuals against being vaccinated or to use safety precautions, creates the systemic issue of the virus being spread. Encourage your family and friends to get vaccinated and use recommended safety precautions from the CDC. Get vaccinated yourself, along with any boosters being offered by healthcare professionals and approved locations. The volatility of the risk of exposure to and from the public is still unpredictable, and therefore precautions will still be applied as much as possible - such as described above. The situation regarding this virus is being monitored closely in consultation with the local and state health authorities. The business phone line for this practice will remain open during regular hours for contact. The Email address is available 24/7 for your convenience. Both are located on the Contact page. Your health and safety are extremely important during this time, and your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated.
