Fees

These are the basic fees for counseling and other services. Typical counseling sessions beyond the intake session are 45 minutes long, unless otherwise arranged. For private pay and insurance clients, an intake/initial session will only consist of the intake fee, (see below). If you have questions, please feel free to call.

Basic Service Fees:

Intake (Private Pay/Insurance)  -  $275.00 (45 minutes).
Individual Counseling (Private Pay/Insurance)  -  $175.00 per 45 minute hour.
Couples/Marriage Counseling (Private Pay/Insurance)  -  $200.00 per 45 minute hour.
Family Counseling (Private Pay/Insurance)  -  $225 per 45 minute hour.

EAP  -  Covered by service contract (No payment from clients).

A 3% Card Surcharge Fee (CSF) for credit card transactions applies to all payments for out of pocket expenses incurred and owed by the client. Debit cards (including FSA and HSA cards) are not impacted by this fee. More information is provided in policy disclosure documents.

Clinical Evaluations, Anger Management Assessments, Professional Consultations, and court related services are available by arrangement and/or availability. Please call the practice directly for rates and specific information concerning your needs.

Insurances Accepted

* Regence BlueShield of Washington state (and Blue affiliates).

* Triwest / Tricare (military-based insurance).

* Cigna

* Premera Blue Cross (and Premera affiliates)

* Out Of Network (OON) - with advance client payment in full on day of service.

Important:
Full co-pay, deductible, and co-insurance payments are required if paying through insurance. A statement can be created for out of network insurance reimbursement if requested.

Military Discount

Active duty and active reserve U.S. Military service members (all branches of service including the National Guard) who are seeking counseling help receive a 20% discount off of the calculated or standard rate as it applies in out of pocket expenses, for all counseling services and fee-for-service assessments or evaluations provided through this practice. Proof of service (active or reserve) can be achieved by providing an active or reserve ID.

Persons recognized as Veterans of the U.S. Military regardless of length of service (all branches of service including the National Guard), are also eligible for this 20% discount benefit for all services, but must provide a DD-Form 214 for verification of proof of service with Honorable Discharge. 

In all cases, this discount cannot be combined with the Open Path program. Active duty or reserve military identification (issued by the D.O.D.), is required for verification. The Intake fee is included in this discount. For insurance based services, co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance, cannot be included in this benefit.

Income-Based Services

A limited number of new or existing clients are accepted through this program in this practice, and is based on supporting low income clients. This program offers you a reduced cost per session after you pay a lifetime membership fee of $65 to Open Path. You will still need to establish a client profile and complete the intake process. Financial evaluation of a client's income is required before approval is granted to utilize this program in this practice.

The fee for this service per session after the membership fee is paid, is a flat rate of $70 per session for individual clients, and $80 per session for couples, which provides you with up to 10 sessions. This program is only meant to be used for short term services, and is only available for regular counseling sessions. Special assessments, consultations or evaluations are not available through this program within this practice. Family services are not offered under this program within this practice. (The intake visit does not count against your 10 sessions, but the rate is the same. There is no intake fee if using this service).
